I lost points on this rule the first game, because I didn't understand. And I sometimes guessed wrong in the games after. I'm a bit torn on this one, though it would be spectacular to be able to accumulate points for two-way players, but it's also kind of the thrill of getting it right. Wouldn't be apposed, I have many great two-way players in my roster hehehe
Thanks for the feedback. I definitely understand the frustration here. One challenge this season is that the league isn't consistently providing much advance information about lineups or pitching roles, which makes choosing how to use a two-way player harder than we'd like. Hopefully, that will improve as the WPBL grows and becomes more established.
For now though, we think requiring a two-way player to be used as either a pitcher or hitter is the fairest approach. Allowing one lineup slot to accumulate both pitching and hitting production could make those players disproportionately valuable compared to other players. We modeled this approach after how other fantasy platforms have handled players like Shohei Ohtani.
That said, we really appreciate the feedback, and we'll keep it in mind as we evaluate what should change for future seasons.
